Ordered a Para Military!

#1

Post by TheKnifeCollector »

I have been wanting one, so today, I just ordered myself a PE Para Military. I thought about gettting the black blade, but decided against it. I am excited!!

Congratulations.
Why you did not get black blade?

I also E-mailed the place I bought it from to see if they would check for blade play before they shipped it out to me. The Para seems like a great knife, and from what I have read here.....Well, I just HAD to have one!! I do not like blade coatings. They come off, scratch and look awful. I do not need to covertly de-anmimate anyone, so I don't need the black blade. ;) :spyder: :spyder:

Good choice. With more lefty friendly and tip-up models available now (Mini Manix and Ocelot), my Para has left my carry rotation but its still within hands' reach in my study. I also don't like black blades, good choice! I hope you'll like yours.

It's a good choice. Mine sees much more pocket time than a couple of Benchmade models I have. Good grip, full flat ground blade, easy to sharpen, a lock that is very easy to operate and it rides in the pocket easy. Guess that may be why I have a second one in the gun safe.

You will love it! It has the blade strength of a Manix but the thickness of a Native. A great deal of power in a thin, light weight package. When I need a little more than a Delica, Salt1, etc, i reach for the Para. Congrats.

Congrats TKC,
Let me know what you think of the Para, i too have wanted to get one, and have been too afraid to pull the trigger because of price and never handling one.

WOW TKC, I am really surprised that you do not already own one of these awesome knives! It is indeed one of my favorites and is in my pocket right now. I think you will be extremely pleased.

The Para was one of those knives that spoke to me when I first handled it. It is light, smooth, wicked sharp and just a pleasure in all respects. You'll love it. I found myself continually saying, oh yea, oh yea, as I fondled it. I bet you'll do the same.
