Missed you all

Post by rainman »

Hi!
I havn't been around for a while and may not be able to get here very often for a while (no Chad, it's not "ATout Le Monde".... :D ).
I miss everyone, and the chance to ask questions; I have been going through :spyder: withdrawls :o .
I hope to be back on a regular basis soon, but for now will have to settle for Kinkos and Starbucks access :(
I look forward to catching up (I'm sure I'm hopelessly behind), like in the matter of the super Hawkbill, among other things........
I look forward to getting back.

Looking forward to your return, and the Super Hawk is currently in the design phase. There was a proto at SHOT show.

Hurry up and get back ;)

Good to hear your back rainman. I haven't been posting as much myself as of late, but do try to skim the topics.

Hi Tom, welcome back. I know how it is, time seems to be shorter and shorter for me too :(

Aloha rainman,

"Your body's gone, that's aaaaaalllllllllll." :D

We'll all be here my friend, we're not going anywhere. ;) It was good for you to let us know, instead of having us worry... ;)

God bless and we'll "smile when we think of you..."

Thanks, everyone :)
Chad, I'd forgotten about the line "Smile, smile when you think of me", thanks

Part of what happened to me was that I ripped my back out on one side, moving my safe out of my ex's place (about 225 lbs). I slid it and lifted at the same time
After about three days of walking sideways, heating pads, Tiger Balm, etc, I decided to take a really hot shower. Well, I was bent to one side and my balance wasn't there......I slipped and landed on the "good" side of my back, on the side of the tub, trashing it about as bad as the other side. Now, I have been on fire (3rd degree burns, about 15% of my body) so I have a reasonably high tolerance for pain, but this back Shite really kicked my arse  .
I'm back to work as of today, taking it as easy as I can (I have two speeds: full out and take a break- there were no breaks today... :o )
I'm sore, but in that good way, I know I'm almost healed :) .
As soon as I get some work ($) under my belt, I'll get another high speed connect.
Nonsequitor: a day before I trashed my back, I bought a Surefire L2. It is kinda cool.......I had a lot of time to play with it :D
Thanks again everyone, I feel like I get to come home for vacation every few days :)
