I heard the same, 300 for BF members, but I think there were also 200 numbered ones for the collectors club. For a total of 500, anyone?

As a member of Bladeforums I was able to purchase the Gray Matriarch. As a spyderco collector I received a black numbered Matriarch. Can't help with the total number but I would be interested to find out.

Thanks for the info Sal!

Ben

P.S. Sal, I sent you an e-mail to the address in your profile. Will you get it or should I send it somewhere else (it is a customer service issue)?

Hi

Thanx for the welcome and the responses. I live in South-Africa and I don't know about them being made available to the BladeForum etc., but we have just received about 40 of them for sale to the general public. I had to have one (I am a dealer and love my Spydies) and therefore the question. If they are so rare I will spread the word to some of my regular 'collector' customers.

I got my grey one today, personally I like black blades but Im happy to have it since its something rare, just one thing, if only 500 where produced why where they not numbered?, its a pity to have something rare and not have which numbered model it is.

Go well
