I just got a SE police model G-10 slight wear on handle/clip but blade in good shape. The ad said it was Carbon fibre and the pic was poor enough to make it impossible (for me) to tell the difference. I paid 90 bucks for it...should I be bummed or is $90 ok for a g-10 SE single liner.?
Hi There
excellent price for a knife in good condition, flat ground or standard blade?
Phil
BTw A better using knife than the CF too. Maybe the Spyder factory could redo the CF Police with new grippy CF like the Military and the flat ground blade(wish, wish, wish)

Actually Worker has a good idea. I would defiantly let the seller know it is not as advertised and see what he/she says. The 2 minutes it takes to type the e-mail may be worth it in the long wrong. Plus, what's to stop the seller for doing it again.
The price is good, you can pay heaps more for something special in the Police line up, but it would be fair to contact the seller and let them know. Some are pretty ignorant about knives.

Ouch, it wasn't LNIB, but not beat up either, just pocket carried frequently by the looks of it (which he said it was)...maybe paid a bit much...ebay is a harsh mistress as no one forced me to bid that high...it was a gamble.
thanks for all the replies. :)
Kinda cool to see bladeforum guys coming back over here (Recoil, Jestyr) I know you been registered here much longer than me, but haven't seen you post much.
You paid a pretty fair price for the knife, so don't beat yourself up about it. My last G10 cost $160+ without the freight to New Zealand! You have one of THE best knives Spyderco has made(IMHO) enjoy it.
