buy the "military" ?
Hi Suicider and welcome!
First of all, you should know that the Military is a big knife. And I mean big. Side by side with the Chinook (which is heavier and more sturdy), and maybe Police, the Military is a heavy duty pro.
I use my Military for EDC (Every Day Carry) and it works great for me (however it is not legal in this country, but what the h...). The knife is very light considering its size. It is very ambidextrous, I just flip my wrist and there it is, ready to cut. The ergonomics are such that you will be able to use the knife even with gloves on (the blade hole is somewhat bigger than on other Spydies).
The materials used in this knife are suberb. G-10 handle, CPM440V steel blade, adjustable SS pivot pin and so on.
Finally, if you are thinking of purchasing a big knife, this is it. Otherwise get a Calypso Jr Ltw or Bob Lum Chinese Folder. IMHO.
Regards!

Hi Suicider,
your English is not so good? Then we can try it in German!:D

The Military is a very good knife. I have mine already 2 years and am approximately content. Usually I carry it always! with me around, even with joggen as pit bulletin stop
I have mehrer Syderco's however mostly use I the Military. I would buy it at any time again, however then with smooth blade. More Info's, also in German you can get here...
