...thank-you Spyderco and mr. Schempp...
I’m thankful to those who; though they disagree with what I have to say; will defend to the death my right to say it.

to me gratitude is an action word. i show my gratitude daily by helping other people. i'm a recovering drug addict with 2yrs. 3mo. drug and alcohol free. my main purpose in life is to help others live a happy, healthy, and productive life. with that said i'm grateful for this WONDERFUL life my god has given me.
better to have a knife and not need it than to need a knife and not have it.
I'm thankful that I am in a position to help educate some of today's youths. I'm a coach and I strive to teach life skills to middle school students that they don't necessarily learn in the classroom. I'm hopeful that I have been successful in that area.
Still playing golf so the name most aptly applies.

I'm thankful that we have a good company like Spyderco with a great leader like Sal who runs it. Sal actually listens to us and we can have a one on one conversation with him. It great to have the ear of the pres like that.
I am also thankful for having a good job in times like these where many poeple don't. I am thankful I have a good wife that assists me in life and does not hinder me.

Everything!
Thanks for the contest!
I'm thankful for all the blessings I have in this life, my wife, my friends, my home, my family, and my church. ADDED: I'm also thankful for the children that God in His wisdom is already preparing for my wife and I to adopt, when the time is right.
I'm thankful God chose to bring me into the world in this particular country, and this particular time in History, even if I haven't quite figured out why yet.
I'm thankful that a couple hundred years ago a few men of various backgrounds got together and drafted a unique system of government that for the most part still works today, and where it doesn't, I'm thankful we have the ability to change it if we choose to go to the ballot box and call our leaders.
I'm thankful for the job I don't have yet, but will soon, even though I don't know what it is.
And I'm thankful for all the wonderful people here in the Spyderco Community, whom I've never met but still think of as friends and family.
Spyderco, thanks for the forum in which to express our thanks!

:) I'm thankful for
-- the love and support of many friends,
-- and the small acts of kindness and mercy that have sustained me,
-- the strength, courage and direction I take from my faith,
-- the comfort, assurance and hope given to me by God,
-- the wonder and miracle of the natural world,
-- the gift of our bodies to enjoy that world.

Thank-you for the contest!
I am most thankful for my wife, who is as supportive as she is gorgeous! We've had a real strange year in 2005 and I'm so happy I got to spend it with Lyndsey.
Also, it is appropriate for me to be thankful for her as this contest was started on her birthday! I suppose if I win something sweet from Ed my wife will claim it as a belated birthday present :)
