Sorry, I can't help you either, as I have no experience with Linton. I have barely even HEARD of them, until recently. I hope someone chimes in who CAN help you!

I think Lintons are pretty expensive for what they are giving you (material to cost comparison). You can buy a Sebbie (CRK Sebenza), or TWO spyderco Military´s for the price of one Linton !!!
No pocket clips, only some kind of cordura pouches.
VERY HEAVY!
I would say maybe they are interesting as collector items, but definitely a tragedy for EDC.
I only like their chinese folder what they make.
And I would like to state following for the protocol: I think that their Polygonic hole is just a weird way how to avoid buying a license for the real one.

I would suggest to buy your Dad a spydie, my Dad became a C83 Persian not a long time back and he is very happy about it! ;)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Linton has a past of ripping off other peoples designs. So you probably won't get too much feed back on them. There are many other brands out there that are way better. Like :spyder: 's Sorry I can't be of any more help.

The Lum Chinese folder(available in green or gunmetal blue handles) is a classic....

I'm not going to get into it here, there's a discussion over on BFC that had me boycott my local shop for a year. Short story is that I commented on it, and they overreacted... they made thier attempt to censor my online freedom and bitched at me in the store. So I boycotted them and spread it around. But I'm back shopping at my local, thats in the past.

As stated, they're overbuilt, expensive(very cheaply built for what you pay), and don't have an original design to stand on.

Why do people worry more if you argue with your voices than if you just talk with them? What about if you lose those arguements?
Slowly going crazy at work... they found a way to make the voices work too.
