Bought my bro a Crow
OK I'm not real tight with my mom and stepdad (that's conversation for another time though). Usually I only see them a couple times a year. Well we all went camping this year and I see my 18 y/o brother carrying this cheap knock off FB necker. I start talking to him and he really seems to be into knives, he's talking to me about different steels and other things related to knives. Well I'm proud as **** cause I was just like him when I was younger, before I found the cult of the spyderhole. So I kinda play dumb and keep talking to him and he really doesn't know anything about "good" knives. I also find out that city ordinances (sp?) where I grew up (and they currently live) are actually really strict (who knew? I just carried and kept my mouth shut) He's not like that though, which is good. So I wanted to buy him a decent knife to EDC for Xmas . My rules were: Had to be PE (the kid can sharpen a blade way better than I ever could), under 3", no assisted opening (grey area in the city just playing it safe), no metal handle (playing it safe on the grippiness), no bali, no FB (he doesn't carry the necker at home), Last one is I can't blow the whole xmas budget on it. So I decided on the Crow. It seemed to fit the bill. I hope he likes it. Sal's designs were good enough for my first good knife, I feel they are good enough for his too.

Pretty cool gift. Good choice for someone who likes knives, but doesn't know much about the quality differences. And it won't break the bank.
First they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not stand up, because I was not a Trade Unionist.
