I said I DO carry to Church! I said some people may not, but I find nothing wrong with it.

I feel a "What Would Jesus Carry" thread coming on... ;)

I vote for the "Catcherman"

He did a lot of fishing...

As an aside... I run a small martial arts school. And the church where I am appointed was funding a children's faith based marital arts program (don't say that too fast!) I was running.

I was doing a "demo" at the chruch, and I picked this nice sized guy, did an over the back throw... You should see the little old ladies eyes at that point!

I don't get "much trouble" from the chruch folks now... However they did call me "Pastor Pain" for a few years. Not sure how I felt about that...

And I should consider preaching while doing a dance with a Spyderfly... It would keep the people awake! :)

With the way things are now, some radical people frown upon carrying a knife to Church. I see no problem though. A knife does not make a person wicked, it is the intent in that persons heart.

I carry several with me constantly with the exception of flying and certan recreational activities. I play in two 8 ball leagues and I dump out my blades into my Maxpedition before leaving to play. I do usually keep my SAK with me and sometimes my Delica or Dragonfly. My Wave II and Inova X5T are on my belt pretty well all times, except flying. For me, it's convenient because I leave the office to play and return to the office to drop off my cue before heading home.

There's usually a Spydie of some sort in there - usually a Dragonfly & SAK. A bunch of my folders are always on my nightstand.

I regularly carried a handgun to church. My Pastor said that he would prefer more God-fearing Christians carried guns...

As a farm boy, I always carry a knife. As a knife knut, I typically carry 4 or 5.

As a law-abiding citizen, I follow the proscriptions (airplanes, courthouse, etc.), and I regard them as an unconstitutional infringement.

Shower, no, but I put on the house alarm, and appropriate tools (cutlery and firepower) are close to hand. Ditto for in the bed, for crying out loud.

If I am clothed I wear a knife/knives and usually one is a Spydie. There is always one on my bedside table, not for any defensive reason, but I often get the midnight munchies and it is good for peeling an apple etc. As I don't travel by air or enter any premises where a knife is a "no no" I don't have that problem. I have read posts in other forums of the wearing of neck knives in the shower but I can't think of one good reason why I would need to. I don't wear PJ's so that rules that one out but I always have a pair of shorts next to the bed for night time excursions such as taking the dog out and I always have a Spydie clipped in the pocket so maybe that is the next best thing.

Sixty years old, been carrying a knife for at least fifty of them. However, I almost never carry around my apartment.

I do keep a cocobolo Kopa on my nightstand which gets used mostly for removing tags from clothing. Also keep a stainless Kiwi on my computer desk at all times, that handles most of the mail. My customized Persian resides on my coffee table unless I'm heading out on the weekend and decide to carry it and gets tapped to open DVDs and heavy duty clam packs.

My Stretch lives in the kitchen, gets stuck in my pocket when I'm leaving for work, and goes back on the counter when I get home. At home the Stretch, along with a Temperance FB and a couple of Spyderco's "real" kitchen knives, take care of KP duties. At the office, it sees more food prep, plus some package opening.

Along with the Stretch in the back pocket, one Kiwi or another goes into my watch pocket each morning, then back into the cabinet at night. The Kiwi gets used for the occasional envelope, and when I need to sharpen a pencil.

In addition, there's a burgundy micarta Jester on my key ring "almost" all the time.

I do occasionally have to visit other government offices in buildings where knives are prohibited, so once in a while am forced to lock "the gang" in my glove compartment.

the only time im not carrying a knife is when im in the shower or asleep
when im in bed i have my ATR and my Perrin sitting next to the bed along with my EDC surefires,

The only time I don't carry is when I'm out at a bar, as over here its a bit of a No No to carry in bars & clubs. :(

I pretty much carry all day, with a few exceptions. The most common time I don't carry is during my runs, but when I run off trail I will bring a small light knife( don't really know why, though).
