440V & S30V

#2

Post by JD Spydo »

I have had 6 Lil Ts all together. I still have 4 of them. All of the ones I have are either 440V or S30V. I have seen several of them at gun & knife shows and I have personally never seen them in any other blade steel. IF there is any other I would like to know what it was myself. :spyder:

How many proven Lil'Temperance variations are there?

-C69GP Leaf Plain 440V X
-C69GP Leaf Plain S30V X
-C69GP Leaf Plain 440V sterile X
-C69GS Leaf Serrated 440V ?
-C69GS Leaf Serrated S30V X

C69GP2 Trailing Plain 440V X
C69GP2 Trailing Plain S30V ?
C69GS2 Trailing Serrated 440V ?
C69GS2 Trailing Serrated S30V ?

I know the ones marked with an X exist.
Has anyone seen a posted picture of a serrated trailing point? I've seen the discussion but no proof. Surely with all the collector club members on this board, someone should have one if they exist.
Any other known variations?
Thanks

Trailing point serrated does exist. I've seen them. They were easily obtainable until they were discontinued. I almost bought one, but preferred the leaf blade.

But all the ones I saw were 440V.

Of course with my memory, I'm not the most reliable source :o But I would bet your paycheck(not mine ;) ) that they do exist.

There was going to be a BG-42 Lil' Temperance, but it didn't work out.

Yeah, I remember hearing about that. Would have been one heck of a nice blade.

Haha, when I heard that over on bladeforums it almost made me cry.

I'm serious.
