Mini Manix in the house!!!
Home run Sal and Eric...out of the park.
Gents, this is one **** of knife.
great grip, great edge, great lock up, smooth opening, attention to detail is all over the place. The new thumb ramp is just right.
I am terribly impressed. :spyder: :) :spyder: :D

Isin't it some how wrong to get a new knife like the 80mm Manix and brag that you got it AND NOT POST PICTURES in the same post?

A decent knife!
Well, I got mine this morning, and its a great looking knife. The blade isn't really that much smaller than the Manix's. The handle is the exact same as the full sized Manix, except its cropped around the back. The torx screws at the back of the handle appear beefed up, and stick out a little.
The spine grooves are more Endura-Wave styled, and aren't like the full sized Manix's, but they still work. The clip positioning holes are a lot better thought out. For tip-down carry, the holes are drilled above the pivot pin/screw, allowing for a very "low ride" in the pocket. For tip-up carry, the ride is also "low", as the holes are drilled just above the lanyard hole.
The pivot screws and lockbar screws seem more counter-sunk, and they do not extend past the handle scales, which is weird since the back screws are more beefy and do extend past the handle scales.
The handle ergos are pretty much the same as the full sized Manix, without the "pommel" of the original. The pinky hook is still present, though barely. If your hand fit well inside the original Manix, it'll fit on this one, too. Unlike the Para Military as compared to the Military, the 50/50 choil is not an integral part of the grip. You can maintain the same grip you had on the full sized Manix without having to use the 50/50 choil.
Best wishes,
Sundown
