What is your all time Favorite PARA3?

I remember a number of years ago about 8 or so when the Para3 was wildely popular.

Cant remember what year it debuted.

The Fully Serrated S30V has always been a favorite, the serrations make it into a much larger knife in terms of cutti g power, what is you favorite version, steel and why?

I dunno, myself, I still don't have one. My answer is the Native 5, then the Sage 5. Those are more my style.

Bought my only one for its steel (Maxamet), used it, reprofiled it, customized it, and it's permanently in my collection, along with the PM2 Maxamet, which is reprofiled and customized in the same way.

I have two Para 3's.... Maxamet and BBB 15V. I have to say the 15V because it's going to be hard to find down the road.

Years ago I sold my last Para 3, however early last year I got the 15V. Put some micarta scales on it and enjoying it very much.

My favorite Para 3 is . . .
these three . Can't narrow it down from there .
Top is Spy 27 (((slightly modded)))
Middle is REX 45 blade in Black G-10 with Koi clip
Bottom is BBB 15V in Black G-10 with Titanium Lightning Strike clip

27 and 45 l reprofilled and polished .
15 V was so great from the factory I just use it .

PS : the other two were quite good from the factory as well .

I went with a microconvex, which adds to edge stability and reduces behind the edge thickness at the same time, while it is not requiring the removal of much material.
I progressed handheld on DMT plates (the ones w/ solid steel embryos)

My Rex45 and Spy27 Natives and others folders had the same treatment.

The Para3 is a cool design, but unfortunately it has two things against it for me. First, it is a compression lock. It is detent based and I don't care for that. But more importantly, the handle is waaaayyyy too small for my hand. The PM2 is also too small. I know a lot of people don't have these issues and the Para3 is a fine knife.

I'd have to say the G10 Rex45 sprint run, or the G10 4V St Nick's exclusive. Two of favorite steels and I like the colorway of both knives.
