Tamara Likes Dragonfly & Delica

#1

Post by Bolster »

I debated posting this in the off topic section, but decided to post here for all the Dragonfly & Delica fans. Article is by Tamara Keel, who is using the D'fly as an analogy for her topic (handguns). She obviously likes the D'fly! (And Delica.) Article from June 2024 of Shooting Illustrated.

Looks like a really short barrel on that gun. Depending on what caliber, it might be a real kicking little rascal...

The photo of TK above goes with her snark:
"In a perfect world, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms would be a store with a drive-through window."

I've no idea what the gun is. Suppressed shotgun? No idea. Someone here will know.

Not sure about the make and model, but it appears to just be a sawed off shotgun. Break barrel, single shot, it looks to me like the bore is maybe 20 gauge. I would suspect that to be a custom rig of some sort.

Even if it’s a .410 I’ll bet it’s loud.

Either 20 ga or whatever one hand shooting it would be a hoot lol... some of the best fun shooting I have had was with a 10" Contender pistol in .223 round all hot hand loads off sand bags at wasp floating across one of our stock tanks at about 70 yards.

Those rounds will knock a hole in the water and just flat out vaporize a wasp and they are great target practice lol. We setup there and shot all day. Those pistols in that size and caliber are a hoot off bags. Not ever shot a shotgun bigger than a .410 is something that short lol.
