Will the Manix 2 Salt ever be released?

I've been waiting on the all black Manix 2 Salt to be released for awhile now. Several new releases have come and gone since it was announced. I was really surprised the the Shaman Salt that was just announced is already hitting dealer's. @sal any word on these?

I got mine the other day. I'm very happy with it! Came perfectly centered with great fall shut action and zero blade play. The scales are very aggressive which is what I want. I was thinking about doing some upgrades but I don't think I'm going to now. Only thing I might change is the plastic ball cage but I might not even mess with that. Great job on this one Spyderco!

I don't believe I have ever heard of the black plastic ball cage ever breaking. I have heard of the old clear plastic cages breaking but that was corrected early on. The plastic ball cage is perfect for a salt knife.

I wonder if the flytanium metal cage will work on these? If so I might have to aquire one and put my tritium cage in there.
