That is the "barrel clip" that was used on 3rd generation Seki models. My Tasman Salt has the same style clip. The clip attachment screws are also a hollow lanyard tube.

Hi Jeb, as mentioned by PanChango & 8th_Note, the “lanyard hole” on the Endura 3 is integral with the barrel bolt that goes through the scales to secure the pocket clip.

The Endura 3 & Delica 3 generation had this barrel bolt clip design, which was carried over to the original Salt series. The early Native & Rescue models also had it.

Thanks fellows, I figured it must be different and it really was. Thanks for the better pix to see it up close too.
I am such a gearhead lol, I really like to see all the different approaches at doing the same thing. You just never know how you may be able to incorporate it into something your doing...
