Endura 3 Plain Edge

Were fewer PE Endura 3s made than CE and SE variants? It seems like they're rare as hens teeth on eBay. At the moment, I've only found one, while PE and CE variants are much, much more plentiful.

Hi Mr_Whiskerz,

That would be challenging to they to determine at this time. There are quite a few of our older models that become very difficult to find?

The Endura 3 is my favorite knife so I browse ebay from time to time to see what's available. I've also noticed more SE knives from those older generations over time. I wonder if it's a car of survivorship bias - since fewer people use SE, the serrated ones are more likely to make it a couple decades in good enough condition to get put up for sale and stay in circulation. Just a guess, but I have noticed the same trend.

there's tons of PE Pacific Salts out there. Fairly close if you reshape the tip on a belt sander. Not 100% the same thing but might be worth picking up a couple.
