Oh, that is a nice old dawg...
Re: Manix Monday
My only Manix is also the best version I could imagine (as long as they keep on not offering an ffg SE variant).
Also really good at simple EDC tasks like opening packages.
REX 45 is just my favorite steel for PE out of all I tried so far... and that few spots [EDIT: Plus a nice, subtle patina] are the only signs of corrosion, despite using the Manix in all and also wet outdoor conditions and not taking any care like oilong the blade at all...

Re: Manix Monday
This is one lightweight I regret passing on when released . I’m with you Gernot , it’s time the Manix has a SE option . It’s been way too long to ignore an SE in a Manix model . Re: Manix Monday
I was looking at Spydiewiki the other day and saw that there was a very interesting sprint run from '18 that I have never seen in the wild. Does anyone have one of these?
S90V DLC w/ "burled G10" in black/brown.
Very different and cool. I'd like to see more "burled G10", possibly in other colors

Re: Manix Monday
Well, I'm kind of in a minor Manix 2 mania. I bought one a few years ago, a black LW with DLC coated blade--I bought two, actually, and gave one to my brother. I have been having issues with my hands and found the Manix 2 LW to be uncomfortable at the time, so I gravitated to a Para 3, then a Sage 5, and others.
That was then. My brother beat on the Manix 2 LW mercilessly and had no complaints. He still uses it. I now find the grip to be more comfortable than in the past, so I've been using mine a lot more. Naturally, I had to have a 15V version of the LW, just because it is 15V. And now I'm about to order a Crucarta version.

Oldest: 1974 Buck 110.
Newest: Manix 2 LW, CPM 15V
SE models: Dragonfly 2 Salt, Lil Native, Chaparral, Salt 2, Byrd Hawkbill 2, LeafJumper K390, Mule MT46S, Temperance CruWear
Knives owned: Too many, yet always finding another.
Added a ceramic mug, "The Edge is a Ghost". Great mug!
