Metropolitan. It came with an atrocious factory edge so I decided to put a fresh 17 degrees per side edge on. It’s a PITA to sharpen that M398 steel even using the diamond rods from my Wicked Edge system. Now it will cut !

Currently two weeks on a sunny island, doing some trail running, volcanoe hikes and enjoying the ocean (since we don't have access to the sea in Austria).

Brought this as my only knife for everything, including food prep, and I know it won't let me down :smlling-eyes

Thanks, and yes, it is nice indeed to live in a city where one is surrounded by old history like the fortress of Salzburg...it is one of the largest medieval castles and a really cool place.

Should you happen to be interested in stuff like that: Here is the English wiki page about, including a gallery (scroll down a bit) with some nice views https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hohensalzburg_Fortress
