While not quite 50%, Spyderco is what I have the most of with 32. Buck is second with 26. Then, there are 8 SAK, along with some other traditional type fixed and folding for a total of 78. Though I have built a small collection, I don't buy to collect. I only buy what I would want to use.
Re: How many of You are collecting exclusively (or nearly) Spyderco knives?
My collection of folders is almost exclusively spyderco with a few exceptions. The most glaring of which is my love affair with the benchmade bugout. If I can’t decide what to carry, my default is usually a bugout in the right front pocket and a lil native in my back pocket or iwb. So I have two bugouts. I like the delica thin blade with the manix edge length and thinner, narrower carry profile than either. Neutral ergos as well.
However, if I had to part with the bugout, I have discovered that I think the Kapara can take over that role quite nicely. The right front pocket is usually for my apple and other fruit/food slicing knife, and the back pocket or iwb carry is always a smaller spyderco utility knife, usually cycling between one of four lil natives, a 20CV dragonfly, a k390 delica wharncliffe, a superblue delica, and occasionally a 15V para 3 or magnacut manix. Spyderco has a monopoly on the utility knife role, and competes often against the bugout for the apple and fruit slicer role (kapara, chef, magnacut manix, cruwear gayle bradley, etc).
The two other exceptions to my spyderco dominated collection is a very special protech tr3 from my wife and a less special but great for apple slicing kizer klipper.
