There are no branches to cut when you're planting trees here. This is is what it looks like.

....

They can pile up the slash piles and burn them so the ground is a bit clearer but there's noting left trim off in your block. You dig a hole, you put the new tree in and you repeat till you run out of trees. Then you get more trees and repeat.

I believe you... thinking of "cutting branches" while "planting trees" was actually a bit silly of me anyways... :worried :smirk
Top three going by pocket-time (update October 25):

- Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1)

Go with a salt. It’s going to be easier to sharpen while out there , they are tough knives and super easy to maintain/clean
Just one more knife...

Years later I can report back! My Rex 45 native chief turned out to be a fantastic option for the first 2 months! I can’t figure out how to post a picture here but it took a wonderful patina and was a true work horse, however….
My paramilitary 2 in s30v with flytanium lotus scales in titanium took the crown as my favourite in the bush. I was initially worried about how slick the handles were but I never once had an issue in all the rain and mud.

The mora garberg was my #1 user for and hard or strenuous tasks but for anything other than wood and meat the paramilitary 2 stole my heart.
