Thank you for sharing the links here, William!

I am glad that it is not limited to Facebook only but it is unfortunate that the forum often gets ignored when fun promotions like this happen.

I will definitely be entering this contest. 🎃

I figured some of Spyderco's biggest supporters on this forum needed in on the fun too. Good luck.

I bet the member who posted in the Native Chief thread with the skull he carved out of a chunk of wood with said knife would win, lol.

Has anyone submitted any photos yet? I tried to upload some but I didn’t get any upload confirmation, so I'm wondering if it went through. :thinking

I did not get a chance to enter this one, work and home life just kept me too busy.

Anyone who did enter, please post them here, I would love to see the photos.

I'll post photos soon. ;)

I ended up doing two carvings this year because I wasn't totally happy with the first one. I spent a lot of time carving them, so I'd love to enter both to increase my chances... 🤷‍♂️ I only entered one so far but I don't see any rules limiting it to one pumpkin carving per person. :thinking

@TazKristi Can I enter more than one pumpkin carving or is it one pumpkin/entry per person?

Here is my first carving from this year - I like how it came out but I think I could've prepped a little more in the beginning to get a cleaner finish in the end. Either way, I ended up carving a second one after this. The first cut was made with a Lil Native LW but the rest of the carving was done with a McBee and Roadie XL. 🎃

The second carving I did is similar to others I've done in the past. More of a traditional style jack o' lantern but with a little twist. This carving was done only with the McBee and Roadie XL. I tried to finish the carving with a Lil Native but I didn't know pumpkins had such a craving for them. ;) 🎃

I like both of them Nick ! Illinois is the biggest Pumpkin producer in the USA . Nestles has a Pumpkin canning facility about 15 minutes away in another town . Lots of pumpkin related contests during annual festival. Dan

Those are awesome, even if I did get a chance to enter I wouldn’t have stood a chance.

I am declaring you the winner, no need for Spyderco to look at anything else. Awesome job!

Now if they need to run a Mule handle making contest of some I might stand a chance.

@Jeb Thanks Jeb, I appreciate the kind words!

@Manixguy@1994 Thanks, Dan! That festival sounds like a lot of fun. 🎃

@WilliamMunny Thanks, William! I have my fingers crossed that Spyderco likes them too. 🤞

A mule handle contest would be really cool!. :cheap-sunglasses
