Ok, thank you for setting me straight on this, I have just been going by how those I have been trying to buy from have them listed.

It's definitely the Schempp Rock, that top one you tacked up. Man I really like the look of that knife. We get these new 6" Mules that will help with me not wanting to pay 450 bucks for one of these Rocks lol.

I know we had a discussion on this forum about a 6" blade Mule Team. I'm guessing that one of the "locals" will know the thread? As I remember the thread, we discussed the possibility of a 6" blade Mule team being used in some "ag" function. As I remember, you offered to test it for us and share thoughts and conclusions? My normal response is' "I don't know. Let's try it and see what happens?".

Well, Roque just finished the prototypes and we've got one to send to you. As I remember, you said that you were relocating and we would need to get your new address? So if you will email Wendy (Wborchers@spyderco.com) with your new address, she will get one out to you. The prototype is made from MagnaCut, since that was, I believe, the preference in material selection?

I also have one here with me to test, so we can compare notes. I haven't put it on the goniometer yet, but I'm guessing they about 15-18DPS. I'm going to thin mine down. I'd like to see MagnaCut used harder at 10DPS.

They do, had my 2 year old partial fracture his skull in a fall when I was out of town for work many years ago. No major issues, was not "bad" fracture, but beyond scary having to rush home and make sure he was okay.

I completely agree - I don’t think I’d ever known true fear until my children got badly hurt for the first time. Being a parent can be a real emotional rollercoaster for sure.

Cheers buddy it’ll be a few months for the ligaments and tendons to bond back together before he can re-learn to walk, but it’s the best outcome we could have hoped for.

man, that's really tough. i'm glad he's doing better though and it sounds like you have a positive outlook, so i'm sure it will continue to go well. i agree with what you said... parenting can be terrifying. it's not for the faint of heart and you just have to learn to be okay with the realization that you can't control everything. all we can do is what we think is best in the moment and be there for them always.

For sure. We’re focusing on the fact that he is alive to celebrate his 7th birthday next week, rather than dwelling on the challenges to overcome in the coming months. “Obstacles do not block the path - they are the path” as the saying goes
