Well... sort of... I'm of the opinion that the folder in my pocket isn't the best tool for ANY job. It gets to spend time in my pocket only because it's not convenient to carry the proper tool. Face it, carrying a plane in your pocket will probably result in unwanted attention. If my folding pocket knife isnt' up to whatever task I demand of it, then it's a POS that needs to be thrown in the trash. While the 15V flavored Manix 2 wasn't the BEST tool for the job, it got the job done.

Rusty, good answer! That makes sense. I’ve done things of a similar nature. I bet you had a bit of a grin on your mug while whittling that door.

Hey, Rusty, I just received my 15V Manix 2 today, along with two CBN rods. I understand now, the Manix is really a beast! I think I’ll save some money and cut down that fir and redwood myself! 😉
