Yes Spyderco's version of Phil Wilson's popular custom model is very good. He likes high carbide steels for hunting and skinning knives. This one is no exception, with S90V, a full tang and a machined G10 handle.

These were standard production for almost 5 years (2013-2017), a period when S90V was at the pinnacle, and very hard to find in production folders, let alone fixed blades. They were expensive, and eventually the demand disappeared. I should have bought a backup, as well as the smaller bird and trout version, the Sprig.

Used my S110V manix to make a makeshift washer for a bolt head that was smaller than the original bolt which was lost. I was helping set up a used baby crib at someone’s house and they didn’t have any washers or hardware in their house. It worked pretty well.

Cut out squares from some clamshell plastic, poked Xs in them and pushed them onto the bolt.

Excited to see those Police XL's revealed.

Sorry for being super boring, but this is all I had to test my new Sage on 😂🥳 Being a fan of the Native 5, I always took a pass on the Sage, too similar to the Native 5 i thought. It's crazy how different they handle and I really like the thinner blade on the Sage 6.
