I'm wondering - is the Smock that much more popular than the Kapara? There were so many Smock versions over the years compared to the 3 of the Kapara... I'd love a Jade G10+CPM M4 or a White G10+REX45 Kapara. Or some interesting stainless (S90V was perfect, though not a fan of micarta), maybe MagnaMax plus some interesting composite handle like shred G10 or maybe CarbonTex G10?

I don't have a Smock and have never been totally smitten over it, but the micarta perked my ears up. 20CV is good, but not the most exciting steel out there. I have a week to talk myself into it, I guess.

Agreed 100%, both the scales & steel seem like odd materials choices -- OMG imagine a version w/15V & brown G10 or Cru-Carta, or....
