Great pics, Nick! Grwar variety. Those sea robins' faces almost look like frog faces.

Just got my fishing license renewed a few days ago. I live in Washington near south Puget Sound. Went out to a beach I used to go to years ago. Hooked into a pretty large searun cutthroat. Unfortunately it threw the hook before I could land it.

But I did get a pic of my knife, lol

Caught a couple small cutthroat. Biggest about 8". But he fought like a bigger fish. No pix of the fish. I try to release them as quick as possible.

I did, however, get a picture of a mule, lol!

Nice catch! I've never caught a salmon but there are a few lakes in the state where they stock them.

And it's a great picture at that. 👌

Been out bass fishing in the kayak a bit lately. So far the new pup seems to enjoy riding in the back.

Nice fish! They look like they're staying well fed. 🎣

Regretfully, I have only been out on my kayak twice this year so far. :fearful-face Only caught one bass and got skunked on the second trip... 🦨

Might try to sneak in some time on the water soon. I need to catch more than one freshwater bass this summer!

Spent the weekend in Arkansas chasing trout but fishing was pretty lack luster with lots of heavy flow on the white river.

We've had crazy amounts of rain in this water basin. Last time I was at the ranch these were our roads... nothing like breaking in a week old truck lol

Very nice catches by you all. I love the salt water variety.

@JestersHK LOL! That's one way to get those break-in miles done. Nice truck! 👌

@Manixguy@1994 In another thread you mentioned halibut fishing and it reminded me of a recent story I heard on the local news this past week.

Nice story Nick . I’ve been to Homer,Alaska where guides take fisherman out to fish for Halibut . I’ve seen some nice big ones . Beautiful area , very scenic drive from Anchorage. Last time visiting sister she had a knock at door of friend who ran out of freezer room and gave her 60 pounds of Halibut. At that time my sister’s husband hunted and fished so they had three deep freezers . Let’s say I get my fill of wild game and fish ! Dan

Remember that old saying “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”
That’s also the definition of fishing.

Thanks! Different river today. The first pic was at the Skokomish River in the Olympic National Park. Today I was at the Chehalis River about 10 minutes from my home. Funny how I have better luck right outside the town I live in than when I drive an hour and a half into the mountains. Lol!
