Concave slopes

#1

Post by Gears_QQQ »

I'm using a buck 172, and it has concave edges. I really like the way it cuts. I'm wondering if there's a spyderco with concave edges on the back.

If you're referring to a blade with a hollow grind, the Gayle Bradley 2 has a fine example of that.
Because desolate places allow us to breathe. And most people don't even know they're out of breath.

The Bucks I use to use years ago had the Hollow grind and I bet that is what your referring to. You will find several Spyderco knives you can get this edge profile in.

Provide more info like blade length and you will get lots of help scoring a Spyderco in one of these...

The Smock, the Lum Tanto with OD green G10/M390, the PM2 Tanto and the discontinued Advocate all have hollow ground blades.

Edited to add: I just looked at the Assist and it does too.

Canis and Yojimbo are two more edgy designs that are currently available and have a hollow grind.

Thank you all! I don't speak English well, so I use a translator. Perhaps this is why I couldn't understand the terminology properly

The H2 knives are hollow ground, as were the older H1 knives. These will be in the Salt Series, such as the Pacific Salt, a personal favorite.
