What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
I know we sure don't get me options on the green colored scales on new knifes since I have gotten really serious about collecting the Spyderco knives...
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Around the late 2000's / early 2010's they ran a ton of models in foliage green G10. going purely from memory....
Endura
Delica
Dragonfly
Kukri
Barong
C95 Manix
Military 1
Paramilitary 1
UK Pen Knife
Couple of years prior to that era they did a Perrin Street Bowie run in green with black inserts too. That model has thus far eluded me....big fan of the perrin / spyderco collabs....

Wandering About,
Man I don't know how you can actually use that K390 steel knife and keep it that clean lol. All of mine that I use are all stained and rusted up nasty bad lol.
It's gotten when the only time I bring mine out is the dead of winter, when I am not sweating so bad and it's freezing cold out.
Darn shame too cause K390 is awesome blade steel. If I can just look past the tarnish that I can't stop on the blade lol
That's a nice D4 you have though...

Well, it hasn't been used enough to get a good patina yet (nothing to fear about that). I do tend to be selective about when I carry my tool steel knives, too. But I am planning to carry this one most of the time for the next month, so it should pick up a little patina.Jeb wrote: ↑Thu Sep 11, 2025 3:42 pmWandering About,

I feel like this is the first picture you've posted of a knife with a factory edge, must be new!

It's actually not factory, the blade was just ground thin enough it doesn't look unusual even with the edge thinned. If I recall, this one measured .018" behind the edge before reprofiling. I will have to take a spine shot of it compared to a small Sebenza, the difference is pretty wild.
