Some good search tips:
-btw $20-$60
-using terms like 'tactical' or 'compression lock' etc.
-May or may not say Spyderco. Some are well-disguised, others are pretty blatant.
-Search 'buy it now'
-Search 'brand new'

Wow! You say you didn’t have much to do, but you found a whole pile of fake sellers.
The most prevalent giveaway is the ridiculously low prices on all of these sites.
My question is - are the photos taken from Spyderco’s site or other authorized sellers. I ask because they look so authentic. The price is a DEAD GIVEAWAY! I was once given a gift from a relative that turned out to be a scam, instead of receiving a video disc player, I got a “cooling towel”. I responded to the Hong Kong seller with an incriminating email that should have raised “red flags” in china. Perhaps that scam artist is still in jail!

I saw a bunch of those. I reported one on the main sellers to eBay. Surprisingly I have heard nothing back, which is a good thing, generally when i report a fake i get an email back in a few minutes telling me it's fine not to worry about it.

Unless I know the dealer on eBay I ignore the rest . Every time eBay asks how they are doing I set my response on fire . I never get a reply . Its all about making a profit . MG2
