I emailed Mike At NGK yesterday and heard back from him today. First of all, he said that "I generally do not believe a new knife is released until I have it in my hand". He also told me, "Ron, I spoke with Spyderco this morning concerning the MiniManix....the collector knives are being numbered as I type. They should ship next week. The regular production is due to ship a couple of weeks after the collectors. We have over 100 of these on order with Spyderco, so please help me get rid of some of these ;-). Actually, I expect these to go well".
So unless you are in the collector club, it still may be another three weeks or so. It is getting closer though.

Good to hear, I can't wait to see some real world pictures, well, and dreamy Ted pictures (Ted is NOT the "dreamy" in that sentence :D ).
Also, it will be nice to see side-by-side shots of the Manix family.

Well I wouldn't plan on getting it from Sawyer's... Sounds like they are not going to be getting any non-numbered Manix 80mm in.
I have to call them back Friday....

I get my collector pieces through them. Nonnumbered pieces are purchased through the lowest price dealer I can find, usually in combination with other pieces to save on shipping.

I got a surprised PM from Paul with this image attachment. These should be scaled down to proper sizes. All credits go to The Deacon, I'm just posting them cause I enjoyed them myself. Thanks Paul! :)
