Tips & Tricks to Improve Your Mule Team Shopping Experience!
If you have an account on Spyderco.com - log in to it ahead of time and ensure that your billing, shipping addresses, and contact information are correct and current.
If you do not have an account on Spyderco.com, you can check out as a guest. If you’d like to have an account, register before the drop and save yourself the time of entering your information.
If your Spyderco.com billing address does not match the billing address associated with your card, your purchase may be declined – that is something outside of our control. Even a simple typo of one character can cause a declined transaction.
On the release day, log in to your account a few minutes earlier than the release time (09:00 am MT).
Have your payment information ready to enter. We do not store credit card information on our site, but if you are comfortable storing it in your browser, I highly recommend doing so ahead of time.
Consider calling your card company (the day before the release) and let them know you will be making a purchase on Spyderco.com. This can prevent any confusion about potential fraud during the transaction.
If there are other items you want to purchase at the same time, add those to your cart before the release. This will allow you to go straight to checkout once you have added the Mule to your cart.
And finally, if possible, ensure you are connected with a stable internet connection with the fastest connection speed possible. We know this is not possible for everyone, but the truth is, the faster and more stable your connection, the easier it is to shop during popular releases.
We have done everything that we can do on our end to improve stability and speed, but there are a lot of variables outside of our control. My hope is that these tips will help improve your experience.
Thanks much!

Nice! In a cruel twist, I will be a couple days into a week long wilderness backpacking trip when this drops. Oh well, I will just have to wait until latter to get some MagnaMax.
Because desolate places allow us to breathe. And most people don't even know they're out of breath.

First the CruWear Temp Sprint and now this! We are spoiled rotten. I think I’m actually more excited about the precedent of SE mules than I am about Magnamax.legOFwhat? wrote: ↑Wed Aug 13, 2025 5:33 pmFinally the flock will get some teeth! Thanks Sal and crew!

Re: MT46P/MT46S - Mule Team™ MagnaMax™ Release Info!
As a card-carrying metal head, I won't go THAT far. But I'm really intrigued at the prospect of having both a plain and serrated edge MagnaMax. The big question is how I'm going to finish them. The handles need to be distinguishable from each other, yet maintain a similar look. What to do... what to do...

I’m planning on using mine in the kitchen but am undecided between G10 and Terotuff, although I love a bit of burlap micarta!RustyIron wrote: ↑Wed Aug 13, 2025 10:22 pm

I don't have a fixed Spydie yet (not including kitchen) and am considering something similar. If I get both, I may get both sheaths and distinguish them that way.RustyIron wrote: ↑Wed Aug 13, 2025 10:22 pmAs a card-carrying metal head, I won't go THAT far.
