Re: 2026 Forum Calendar Contest!
Hello
new to this forum and new to nice knives. i chose this knife because it is one of my few spydercos. i moved to a new house a few years ago but work has kept me busy with 80 hour weeks. i just now have gotten a break and am going through many boxes from my move. when i moved in the previous owner left a pool table, this has been nice to play but also to use as a workbench for opening all these boxes. as expected, i have used this knife to open most of the boxes because it has been super sharp and not disappointing.
this is a manix 2 cobalt.

Magnacut PM2, picked this up at the seconds sale and have been enjoying the new scales and steel. Picture taken in my backyard in between rain showers this summer.

Edit to comply with competition rules:
I think the WTC D’Allara tributes to so very much, it really is special. I couldn’t think of a more respectful way of portraying it.

This is outstanding. Pro shot. Good luck.gmanarvada wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 1:27 pmThe H2 Salt 2 Spyderco knife was the latest addition to my beautiful Spyderco collection. The compact size and light weight make it ideal for everyday carry and use. And as pictured here, the knife is showcased in the foreground of Boulder Falls. Even in wet conditions, the textured handle ensures a secure grip. Love this knife!

Well, after a couple of days of trying to get on the Forum and monkeying around with computer settings, it looks like this may work.
This photo was taken on the bank of Grange Hall Creek in Northglenn, Colorado. After summer thunderstorms all kinds of interesting things can be left behind when the raging waters subside, including this large root that was pushed downstream. (It was gone after the next t-storm.) I'll always carry a knife when I'm out shooting photos in the open spaces to trim vegetation or branches back to better set up a photo. The Shaman is beefy enough to handle the task perfectly and with the S90V blade I'm not worried about the steel rusting if it's not 100% dry after wiping it off on a pant leg.

Been lurking on the forum for awhile and had no idea of the calendar contest until a few days ago. Love the idea and had a lot of fun trying to find a good shot. Thought the old junk laying around the farm really helped my cruwear pm2 pop.

I chose the McBee because of a recent realization. This knife has been following me in almost every school work preparation for a few years now. It sits patiently in my desk drawer and is always present when I need it, which is very often.
This is the kind of knife you don't think of a lot, you use it a lot.

Re: 2026 Forum Calendar Contest!
First time participating in the forum calendar contest so I hope I did everything right!
I purchased the featured Crucarta Manix 2 knife last year in July and immediately took it with me on our family vacation to Norway and Sweden. Me and my two boys made great memories of carving walking sticks, making bows and arrows and building camps in the woods with this knife! I wanted to enter it into last years forum calendar contest, but I was too late.
Therefore, I would like to enter it now, using this picture that I took last week on a small lake in the Netherlands.
This Manix 2 has been well used over the last year and I can testify that it stands up to any task.

Thanks a lot Dan ! Since this knife helps me create stuff for kids, I wanted the picture I submitted to showcase that !Manixguy@1994 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 9:38 amReally like the colors Robin ! Buddy DanRamonade wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 7:14 am

Good luck to everyone-there are a lot of great photos. My favorite daily driver is the Native 5, but I chose the Smock for my submission because it has more interesting lines. It's sitting on a stack of black locust firewood.
Re: 2026 Forum Calendar Contest!
Not my very first forum post, just the second.
For those who desire a higher resolution:
Got started with the ‘ol Tenacious as my first Spyderco in April of ‘24, so newer than most. However, the spyder bug has bit hard, my newest acquisitions have been a few mules, looking forward to Magnamax! Back to the photo, what’s more “tenacious” in the garden than a partial serrated edge that matches the produce? Two of my favorite things side by side. For those who desire a higher resolution:
Re: 2026 Forum Calendar Contest!
I chose my k390 Wharncliffe Delica for this photo because I believe it represents many unique and wonderful qualities that I appreciate about Spyderco products and Spyderco as a company.
The high hardness and vanadium rich k390 tool steel with a wharncliffe blade shap that provides full cutting power all the way to the tip exemplifies Spyderco’s performance-first mindset.
The existence of a wharncliffe Delica in the first place is a reminder that Spyderco listens to end users and takes action on our feedback, especially on this forum as anyone who watched Jazz, Sal, and others going back and forth here could attest.
Additionally, as a discontinued product this image is a reminder to all that if you see a Spyderco you like you should buy it! Don’t wait! (like the 15V sprint runs right now
)
Finally, Spyderco originates in Golden but they are truly a global “Earth” company. This knife was designed in Golden, with input from international end users, and then manufactured in Seki city Japan using a European steel and was then distributed to a dealer in Taiwan (Ray Gue Hua) where I purchased it.
I really appreciate the work that has gone into leveraging global supply chains and the modern artisans of earth to bring the best products possible to knife afis all over the world, regardless of if they are made in Golden, Seki City, or Taichung.

Re: 2026 Forum Calendar Contest!

This is my Shredded gold Cf Manix 2 in 15V.
Its my most daring build yet.
It came to life as the new Manix2 15V Lw sprint and the Crucarta Manix 2.
Now the 15V blade has bin refit in the Crucarta’s body and got tuned with Fatcarbon shredded gold scales, to fit its legacy as a Royal Manix2.
The picture was taken while we went fishing a hobby dear to my heart since i was 5 blended with my love for knives that came along the same time.

Re: 2026 Forum Calendar Contest!
There's a local desert garden near my house I try to visit every few months. On my last visit I brought my K390 Wharncliffe Dragonfly, which just begged to be hung from the Spydie hole on a small agave plant. The Dragonfly has become my go-to everyday carry knife - lightweight, versatile, disappears in the pocket.
