Old catalogues

#1

Post by Mini2white »

Hi everyone,

I am hoping the archived catalogues will come back to the Spyderco Website as the development continues.

I have noticed Teds page is no longer available with the very old catalogues. Many of us collectors used them alot. Has it been moved or taken down?

What should we do with our old Spyderco catalogues that we want not taking up space but want them to go to good use?

Sell them on eBay?

Offer to give them to someone here or on Blade Forums for the price of shipping?

If you live near a large knife retailer, 4yr university with a metallurgy department or a steel retail shop, you might talk to them and let them know that you have the catalogs for the premier American knife maker who led the way with esoteric steels. See if they would like them.

Digitize them, then mount all the covers into one big poster.

A lot of people would love to take them off your hands they are just neat to have. I have some from the past few years but nothing older myself. At some point I might display a few of them.

I could host the old catalogues that were on Teds site on my website so they are still available. I probably own almost all of them anyway.

If someone has, or created, PDFs of the old catalogs maybe they could be hosted on spydiewiki.com?
