Yeah, for the times that you are doing a lot of serious cutting, it matters.

I avoided getting the Caribbean for so long because I hated the scale color and design. I finally bought a PE drop point during the recent MAP sale, and I found that I don't even notice the scales when the knife is in my pocket or in my hand.

It feels very good in actual use. Now I'm tempted get a serrated sheepsfoot variant as well.

The K2. I'm not a fan of metal handles in general, titanium doesn't float my boat, and to me frame locks are just unfinished liner locks. I still have no idea why I bought it, but I dropped it in my pocket and found myself looking for excuses to use it. Any excuse at all, and out it came. I shouldn't even like it, but I do. Weird.

It's easily the Schempp Bowie. At first I thought it was a little weird and off-putting, but then I saw one at the crazy-low price of $114 and thought what the heck. In person I found it very attractive and, luckily, its unconventional ergos worked well for me. An unexpected bonus was the slicy-thin (2.4 mm) blade. It quickly became a favorite, and it still is.

Para 3.

I decided to order 15v two weeks ago. I was pretty sure I would return it based on my dislike of sage (which was described as better para 3 here). Yet, my sage is gone and the 15v has not left my pocket since unboxing.
