What "Other" is in your pocket???
Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
The clip point Bel-Air is for sure one of my top knives of 2025. It may actually wind up claiming the number one spot, even though my other favorite right now (the S90V Sage 6) cost more than twice as much.

new peel. sanded it, oiled it, and trimmed the handle with the help of my rebar.

The LCP Max is everything the Sebenza isn't - somewhat crude, a little sketchy and cheap, but still highly functional.

what's the slide made out of? I had the standard black and had to get a replacement slide from ruger it rusted so bad on mine. ended up retiring it and replacing it with a S&W BG2.
May you find peace in this life and the next.

It's a stainless slide. The 75th Anniversary edition was the cheapest I could find and included that slide and aluminum trigger shoe. Those addressed the two main concerns I'd read about - rust and pinched finger from the original trigger shoe design. So far, I have not had an issue with either.
BG2 is a sweet shooter, certainly more refined than the LCP.

I've actually never owned a Bugout. The only Benchmade I've got is an S30V Sheepsfoot Grip. I've been thinking about maybe getting a 2nd hand Bugout just to see what all the fuss is about (I know I'm about 10 years late to the party, but that's my style).

You won't regret it. If you don't want to replace the handle scales, buy the CF Elite version. Don't buy the base model. The Carbon Fiber model is nice too, but my favorite is the M390/Aluminum handled model. Beautiful, functional, great steel, good blade to handle ratio. Just an all around good looking and good working knife. Comes with a deep carry pocket clip. Won't shred your pants pocket. Red spacers & thumbstud for a pop of color.

I resisted for a long time. It's a fairly unremarkable knife other than it's unobtrusive - it just stays out of your way. Carries small, carries light, no hotspots, does its job, locks up strong. I honestly carry it more often than my Spydercos in the summer.
