I'm really really loving this Police 3. I don't know why these were discontinued. The quality and fit and finish feels on-par with anything out of Taichung or Golden. It feels like a true gentlemans knife from a bygone era

These are one of the best folders Spyderco ever made. If it were a salt it'd be the only folder I carry. The only thing that keeps me from wanting to carry one year round is corrosion concerns.

They were very well made and had better contouring than most modern spydercos.

I still remember seeing the amsterdam meet prototype photo back in 2008 or so and immediately falling in love with it. I knew the instant I saw the picture it'd be perfect for me.

No other spyderco folder fits my hands as perfectly.

Never selling my Police 3 first run numbered user I bought the week they came out. And never selling the NIB backup either ;)
Do you know if the Police 3s were made at the same factory in Seki that makes the current Police 4 LW model?

In my pocket today, took a break under the back porch today as the Sun is beaming on us some serious rays right now. Dew point is way jacked up from what we are use to in the desert, so it's muggy here and way hot lol.

Anyway have these three little knives in pockets on board today. Thought I would shoot them on this old tree stump I dug up years ago, makes for interesting discussions on just how much fun it was to cut up the dead oak tree then dig out this burl stump just under the ground level.

I'm not sure. The G10 Police 4 definitely felt like it could have been made at the same factory, but I'm not sure about the LW.

V,

You really did the grip on that Temp some serious justice with the dye treatment. Ever since I saw this right when you did it and tacked it up on the forum I have loved that knife man...

You and your daughter have a great day...
Thanks. I'm happy with how it turned out and have thought about buying a second as a backup.

Nice Dragonfly, I do like those. Had one for a short time and my mother expressed how she really would like one like it, well how do you not give it to her lol...

I am in the process of sending my mother a K294 Mule today, she mentioned something about never having a sharp knife and always getting the Dragonfly out of her purse and using that.

This Mule is like a Razor and in the house it will always be well used by her. I told her if she likes that Dragonfly to just keep it in her purse, and that she is really going to love this knife I am sending her... got to take it to town to UPS it this afternoon.

Police 3 and Lil Native

I've had this Lil Native for awhile now, but never carried it much. It's really growing on me. Such a great little design, and amazing smooth action
