Blue Lake bush beans starting to kick in
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Got to love those blue lake beans Salty, killer pic.
Dan, I like your bumblebee in the bush all hiding out is cool pic too.
I am packing two Manix 2's today, got up really freaking early, to freaking early lol; so I took both of these to my hone and they are as I prefer mine just plain and simple like a Razor.

1) I love this knife. It almost ruined knives for me. I carried it a lot at first, almost exclusively for like 9 months. During that time I lost interest in knives. I had a hard time wanting anything else except more versions of it. I now have this, a PD1, a SE Salt, a K390 and a G10/ cruwear.
2) I have two mountain laurel bushes and I love when they bloom!

Today, oddly, I was carrying a Lil Native backlock. Tonight in my PJ's I have a purple Sprint Run Dragonfly.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
I'm really really loving this Police 3. I don't know why these were discontinued. The quality and fit and finish feels on-par with anything out of Taichung or Golden. It feels like a true gentlemans knife from a bygone era
S30V; S35VN; VG-10; BD1N; H1; SuperBlue/SUS410; 8Cr13MoV; Micro-Melt PD#1; REX-45; Cruwear; BD1; K390; Magnacut; HAP40/SUS410; 20CV; 15V; M4; SPY27; LC200N; S90V
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
These are one of the best folders Spyderco ever made. If it were a salt it'd be the only folder I carry. The only thing that keeps me from wanting to carry one year round is corrosion concerns.
They were very well made and had better contouring than most modern spydercos.
I still remember seeing the amsterdam meet prototype photo back in 2008 or so and immediately falling in love with it. I knew the instant I saw the picture it'd be perfect for me.
No other spyderco folder fits my hands as perfectly.
Never selling my Police 3 first run numbered user I bought the week they came out. And never selling the NIB backup either

Taking this sprint temp out to the wilderness again, but this time it's a daddy daughter backpacking trip to celebrate fathers day!

May you find peace in this life and the next.
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
V,
You really did the grip on that Temp some serious justice with the dye treatment. Ever since I saw this right when you did it and tacked it up on the forum I have loved that knife man...
You and your daughter have a great day...

It took some work, but I finally got the edge the way I wanted it. Now I really like this knife!
