Which spyderco is in the mail?

15v Para 3 lw. There was one on Bladebinge for (what I think was) a fair price. I just had to do it, considering BBB 15v is not going to be produced anymore. That, and I really wanted another Para 3. The plan is to put burnt bronze AWT scales and a LynchNW clip on it. Should be about perfect then.

Just ordered a Yojimbo 2 from Robco, yesterday. To replace my first one, which I never should have sold! When I missed it, I bought a used one off the Bay--which is going back to the seller this morning. It wasn't in good enough shape. I have slowly realized I have to have a Yojimbo 2. I don't carry it away from the house, but I have to have it around the house and in the garden. Nothing can replace that long straight Wharncliffe edge. It was time to get a brand new one.

I actually sold my Yojimbo also, though I am still planning to buy a 15V version whenever those release. But I had to chime in that I also think wharncliffes are just so awesome for EDC stuff. Just ordered the latest Divo release because I needed a good wharncliffe to have around for the summer, and I dunno when those 15Vs are landing.

I am not a fan of the Manix 2 LW. I had one, and it just never meshed with me, so I sold it.

But I just got a deal wasaay too good to pass up on a Manix 2 XL. So I'm going to give that one a shot. People around here seen to love the C95. Hopefully I will too. And I generally prefer G10 Golden models over FRN. If not, I'll still be able to flip it for a quick profit. So a win either way.

The C95 is a total different beast then the LW c101. Since you like G10 linered golden models you will be amazed by the difference...

@apollo I like it a lot so far. Its big and brash, and the handle feels great. I really like the ergos on it. Much better than the LW little Manix

It’s one of my all time favorite knives , definitely a pocket hog but never have anything in left pocket but a knife . Hope you enjoy the Manix XL . MG2

Just got a ZDP-189 Mule in today, been waiting for while now for it to get here. Got it off ebay, just wanted to check out this blade steel, it is no joke lol... it's some kind of hard.

The beveled edges were all jacked up, in all I spent the better part of two hours getting the bevels true'd up to 15 dps. Now we see if it holds the edge well...

I've been lurking here for a long time but today i decided to create an account and use you guys as my emotional sponge. So, i ordered my Spyderco just before my AD went on vacation, he didn't manage to send it and now i will have to wait ~10 days for delivery (usually you get your order in 48h).

So, i'm waiting for all-black Para 3 (G-10 scales and DLC coating). It will be addition to my Military 2 and Manix 2.
