That does appear to be the case for exclusives/sprints.

However, they still have a sale on like, almost every other spyderco. Finally found an excuse to order a raffir noble chaparral.

Very nicely done. The brown micarta and red backspacer are stunning. I’m heading to Australia next week and wish I could bring it with but I’ve read the laws are rather strict. Maybe I’ll bump into a real kapara instead.

I have always said that I would buy any Kapara variant that came out, but I wasn’t in a good spot to buy this one when it came out. I figured I would eventually have to pick one up on the secondary market when funds allow. Well my wife surprised me and picked one up for me. I gotta say that it’s my favorite one yet. I have a pre cqi, a DLT 20cv exclusive, and now this one. I love the s90v. I might rough up the micarta.

That’s awesome great wife. I usually just get the go buy your self something for birthday/fathersday/etc then eye rolls if it’s a knife. So now I just wait a few months after, get a knife and don’t bring it up.

Does anyone know where I can buy replacements pivot screws for the Kapara? I'd like to replace the OEM screws with ones that don't have any milling (just a smooth dome).

Will the new Smock screws fit the Kapara?

I picked up one of these from Knife Center. Wonderful knife! It's very well made, and the design is great. I find it very tempting to buy a backup, but even though it's a very reasonable price, it's STILL $255 plus tax!

I would -already did, actually- definitely get a backup. What are the odds of again having burlap micarta AND S90V at the same time? As for the price, who knows, maybe they’ll end up discounting them before they run out…
