Blade Show 2025

#1

Post by JSumm »

It is time! Tomorrow is the day. I know some not local to Atlanta have already arrived. Always looking forward to this weekend.

I am really excited to see the prototypes. I have a feeling there is going to be some really cool new stuff to check out. Most excited to see the staff, Sal, and Eric if they made the trip.

Check in here if you are attending! :bug-red-white

One of these years... One of these years...

I always say I'll make it to blade show one of these years. Well, this is the one! I'm finally taking the opportunity to check out the famed prototype case!

Have a great time! We will want pictures lol

My son and I almost went to Blade Show Texas, but didn’t make it…and with the money we saved it went towards some new Spydercos!

This will be my second year attending. The highlight for me last year was the prototype cabinet and chatting with Eric a bit, even though I'm certainly not a conversationalist.

I'm looking forward to checking out the prototypes again, as well as being more intentional with my time to handle some production knives. I've never had the chance to live near a dealer, so my experience of them is mostly through the screen. I'm in search of a large knife. The P4 and others within reach of 4" will be my focus.

I wanted to make sure no one missed it who is going. In checking, I confirmed they will only be available there and in limited quantities. Enjoy.

I went 10 years ago. It was an experience for sure, something to do at least once. It's about a 3 hour drive for me. Every year I think I should go again, but then I think, what am I going to do there besides buy knives?

I met Sal, Eric, Chris Reeve, Bob Dozier, Ray Laconico, and got dizzy trying to look at all the knives and knife related paraphernalia.

I got some good time talking with Sal and a young man just in from Seki. It was the best trip I’ve ever had to the proto case! The knives were nice too!

Towards the end of the video above, Eric hints at some more Police stuff coming:
* “More Polices are coming”
* “Bringing back some of the Police stuff”
* “And doing new stuff”
Eric also said he didn’t want to get ahead of himself. I take that as meaning we’ll have to wait a bit. Still very cool to hear.

That part with ''bringing back...'' was music to my ears. Maybe some old school SS Police in Tuffram or something similar...
