Metropolitan, Dyad, Meerkat and Starmate. I might consider the Yojimbo but my credit card started to protest allready.
My heart skipped a beat when I saw the Meerkat, but after more consideration I'm not sure I can trust my initial gut feeling on this one.
A good few years back I came across the Hap40 sprint at a really good price, but I was quite new to Spyderco at the time and before I had time to do my research and realize it was indeed an interesting model and a VERY good price, it was already gone. I used to kick myself for not moving faster on that one, but quite some time has passed since that - and I have to make sure I'm not buying this knife to the old me (or the younger me, rather). It has happened before that I've bought items that I used to drool over in my younger years, when money was always in short supply - only to realize my needs and preferences had changed.
Just fyi, Bento Box Shop still has new HAP40 Meerkats in stock. The price is steep though
Mhm... and that's even befor it has crossed the Atlantic and gobbled up a sh** load of VAT and other fees. I appreciate the heads up, but I think that ship has sailed for me. If FOMO kicks in really hard, I'm more likely to try the Spy27 sprint when they hit the stores.

Police 4, Spy27. Hadn't given it much thought until I saw it in the reveal, but that could be just the right version to introduce me to the P4. I don't have prior experience with Spy27, which makes it interesting all on its own. But from what I understand it should also be stainless enough for my intended outdoor applications. And while I'm not exactly unhappy with VG-10, my sock drawer is quite saturated with that steel, so the opportunity to choose a Seki variation with powder steel is quite welcome.
I only wish they released one in spyderedge too. I hope Sal will take this into consideration ! Just a small batch for those of us who prefer teeth on our blades.

Nice reveal. I like the Lil Native, but I still like my Chaps and I am in strict saving mode until the end of the year. Also, I will buy the 15V Native once it drops, so nothing for me rn :-(

CE has become my favorite SE, and I definitely want to see more FFG CE wherever it may appear. If I could pick and choose I'd want a FFG CE S2XL LW Salt. MC or LC. But a FFG CE P4 in Spy27, that would be a no-brainer as well. Bring it on!

Meerkat. I love trying out different locks and never got to try this model so I'm excited I'll get a chance to own one. Magnamax mule will be a hot one I bet.
Yeah, the Meerkat is a really cool knife! I got mine years ago on a sprint run. Very unique and the phantom lock is great! I wish more knives had that lock.

The Chaparral and Bodacious are faves because they’re new flavors of faves, but the COBOL is the biggest fave here because it’s a new design that’s compellingly weird to me.

I like the Spy27 Endela, Yojimbo 2, Microjimbo, and Meerkat.

I also feel like the blue-scaled Microjimbo is as close as I'll get to having something like the OG Yojimbo.

Shaman lightweight is the most interesting to me. Ugly scales, but I like the setup more than the original. If they did a Bodacious lightweight similar to this, that might be a practically perfect folder for my use.
