These look tacky to me, I can see the Walmart look referenced earlier. Great steel choice though. Could always seek other options and try to sell these scales, plenty of different scales and materials out there for the Shaman these days.

REC's 10v exclusives are the best exclusives out there in my useless opinion. Always been a head scratcher that these hang around for weeks even months while the avocados sell out in hours. Never planned on buying a Shaman, but I might not be able to refuse one in 10v.
I agree, 10v and the tan were a great combination. I am just not sure on this snake pattern, neat, but I think I would rather the tan.

This snake pattern would be a hard no for me. To me it screams "Frost Cutlery"

Why would they deviate from the 10v coyote brown "Scorpion" theme for the Shaman? This will most likely be the last of the 10v series. Should've saved the snake for something else, IMO.

I would have preferred that they stayed with the tan G10 for the Shaman but I also wonder if this is the introduction of a new exclusive and REC is going to run some of their previously released 10V models with the “snake” micarta?

REC, the shaman fans aren't appreciative of these awesome scales, so how about ya'll run a Manix XL or Police 4 next? ;)

They had me at Python scales. I’ve those scales on a few different models so I might have to finally try the Shaman. I see even Buck is trying it on a forthcoming model.

I'm with V on this, but let's do the 10V steel and the scales though. On either the Manix 2XL or the Police4 or just really go crazy and do them both...

I love the steel and the scales. Been a while since I’ve added a Shaman but this will be a good one I think…

I just might buy my first Shaman. The handles don't bother me. 10V seems like a good steel.

I think it looks amazing. I already have a few really nice Shamen though and I’m not sure I can justify spending that much right now. I would like to throw a set of those scales on my M4 Shaman though.

The handle scales are incredibly novel for a Spyderco Exclusive, and the blade steel is immaculate. I've been dying to get a higher end Spyderco in a 10v or a K390. If only it was obtainable in Canada bro :woozy :crying-face

I hadn't seen this until I saw it on IG a few minutes ago. I'm typically not a fan of the whole snakeskin look but I actually kind of like these. 10V is one of the only steels I don't have yet. Too bad it's $280. Probably not going to happen for me. I rarely carry my Crucarta and SNK 4V Shamans. Doesn't make sense for me to spend the money

REC still has their exclusive 10V lil Natives in stock for about half as much as the Shaman.

This sold out in something like 6 hours yesterday. Surprised there was no buzz at all on this thread.
