Amen. I love tool steel. I have several Cru-Wear knives and would love more and I have no knives made from 52100. I’ve been hoping that Spyderco would do a knife with 52100. Wish I had been around when they used it in the past.Midnightrider wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 2:32 pmFinally got my Autonomy H1 today, an M2 Sprint Run in CPM15V and another one in Brown Micarta in Cru-Wear are on the way.
Why, oh why do they not make OG Militarys in Cru-Wear and 52100 as regular production![]()

I just got a killer deal on a like-new Gayle Bradley 2. I'm excited about this one. It's such a beautiful knife. It should arrive next week.

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
there's a few websites that still have them. I've been tempted to build another green g10 pd1 police.
May you find peace in this life and the next.

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
Got my Manix 2XL with jade scales and M4 steel in the post today, also got some stunning AWT scales in burnt bronze for my Manix 2 Salt light weight.
Completely blowed away by the burnt bronze scales for the little Manix 2. These are the ones they make for the light weight Manix 2 and they fit perfectly.
Only problem now is I want a set of these for one of my Manix2XL 's, they are just this nice and I love the burnt bronze color.
So went to their website and one small problem, they removed the lanyard hole all together on the Manix 2XL. I got to have my lanyard too.
So got to find out if there is enough room to drill for a lanyard, or if they removed that much of the grip, where you can't drill the scales. This is pretty typical for my projects lol...
May have to attach the lanyard as i am modifying my Yojumbo for one by stacking two pocket clips. Just got to run down some 6mm long clip screws for the modified clip stack for my Yojumbo.
Here is a looksee at these two knives. This pic doesn't catch the color of the burnt bronze, have to get a pic outside and see if the sun light helps.

My Sage 6 S90V has shipped -- expecting it Wednesday it looks like. In the meantime, I'll just have to entertain myself by putting some blue lotus g10 flytanium scales and an rxg clip on my 15V Para 3 :D

I am not a fan of the Manix 2 LW. I had one, and it just never meshed with me, so I sold it.
But I just got a deal wasaay too good to pass up on a Manix 2 XL. So I'm going to give that one a shot. People around here seen to love the C95. Hopefully I will too. And I generally prefer G10 Golden models over FRN. If not, I'll still be able to flip it for a quick profit. So a win either way.

I have a Manix 2 LW with MagnaCut steel, and I have to agree with you, didn't care for the scales on it, but wanted to try out the MagnaCut steel.8th_Note wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 7:46 pmI am not a fan of the Manix 2 LW. I had one, and it just never meshed with me, so I sold it.

I just recently got a set of AWT - scales for it and they have been awesome. I ordered a set to fit one of my Manix2XL 's, I liked those scales that much lol
You will find the G10 scales and the bigger Manix 2XL are absolutely killer though. It's a awesome knife...

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
Just ordered a Yojimbo 2 from Robco, yesterday. To replace my first one, which I never should have sold! When I missed it, I bought a used one off the Bay--which is going back to the seller this morning. It wasn't in good enough shape. I have slowly realized I have to have a Yojimbo 2. I don't carry it away from the house, but I have to have it around the house and in the garden. Nothing can replace that long straight Wharncliffe edge. It was time to get a brand new one.
