I'm with you Hans. I missed the boat on these and the secondary market has even been dry. Why aren't they regular production? Obviously the wharncliffe is a smaller market share, but I wouldn't think it's that small with the amount of wharnies in the rest of the catalog.Brock O Lee wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 4:10 amWhy is this not a standard production blade shape for the PM2?

I only have the blacked out model and hopefully CS will do another drop in the future . Sadly Jeff told me in email that there are no plans for a Military 2 Wharnie . DanBrock O Lee wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 4:10 amWhy is this not a standard production blade shape for the PM2?

It would certainly make me reconsider the PM2. Especially with those nice canvas micarta scalesBrock O Lee wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 4:10 amWhy is this not a standard production blade shape for the PM2?

I think a Military 2 in a Wharncliffe with some good steel would be a great knife, I know I would be all over it. Those 4" blades get my money. lol
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Was just doing some yard work this weekend with this one so decided to take it along for the week.

I am eternally conflicted with Chief vs Military 2. I seem to prefer whichever one is in my hand at the moment.

Great question! Agree it should be a standard option.Brock O Lee wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 4:10 amWhy is this not a standard production blade shape for the PM2?

I have had my Manix 2XL Snaked Crucarta with my Police4 and my DogTag Spyderco, suspect to the Elmax Mule may come on board once I figure the little munchkin belt clip/loop where it fits over my 1.75" heavy duty belt.
