@aicolainen Cool shot! We used to be able to catch Cod from shore here in Massachusetts too. Mostly during the winter but the fishery has moved north and further offshore in recent years. Anyway nice catch - they’re good eating! 🎣

Thanks Jeb, appreciate it! It's a white poplar if i'm not mistaking. I live in the Netherlands close to the north sea. This area is close to where the sand dunes start and a few kilometers from the sea.

Mule on the Pacific Crest Trail around mile 224 between Whitewater and Onyx Peak. Many fallen PCT posts...this section of the PCT is in disrepair after hurricane Hillary ripped through in 2023. The knife carried snugly, securely, and comfortably under the pack's belt. So thin, it just disappeared, but a nice big sharp blade available when needed.
