My 5-year old S110V UKPK that I EDC'd a lot for the past few years, pictured here with a newly-purchased backup S110V UKPK that I bought earlier this year. The grind lines on the blade have smoothed out a bit, the handle texture has smoothed out a little too, and there's a bit of color fading, but you'd be hard-pressed to tell the two apart if you didn't know.

Most of mine don't really show much wear, even my Autonomy that spent 7 years in my pocket during my towing job that cut so many car bumpers and tire plugs and you name it barely has a scratch, it shows more wear from how smooth and polished the G10 is.

I think the ones I have that show the most wear are my H1 Dragonfly and H1 ARK, but with H1 if you cut down one box the knife looks like it's been through a warzone.

Just shows that they are getting used. I support the scratches! I am sometimes bothered with pictures of "user" knives that are clearly not being used very much.

I totally forgot about that thread…. certainly adds character. I never give a second thought to using H1/H2, probably why my stretch 2 XL SE Salt is always in my pocket. Unless you like a shiny chrome look, I suggest not trying to polish them out….
