Are there plans for a Military 2 Salt?
Re: Are there plans for a Military 2 Salt?
Yes, but if I wore a baseball glove long enough; it too would feel normal to me lol... Ogre, is the one word that comes to mind for giants...lol
Re: Are there plans for a Military 2 Salt?
Just want to say that the Military has always felt great in my average sized hands. Same for the Police and more recently the Stretch XL. It doesn't feel like "adapting" at all, even though most would predict the PM2, Manix 2, and Stretch would fit my hands better. Sizing up, in my experience, is a lot easier than sizing down, and you get a big blade to boot!

Has anyone received one of these that is not @ 50% lockup? I assume they all are going to have the too short screws for the clip.
Re: Are there plans for a Military 2 Salt?
I didn't have a problem with the screws, not with the factory clip or with a Lynch.

To be clear, I had no problem with the original screws along with the original clip. It was when I tried adding an aftermarket clip that the screws didn't reach the threads. Today I received a new set of coated screws from Spyderco, and those work just fine with the aftermarket clip.
BTW, my Salt has 25-30% lockup.

my clip screws ended up working fine, but they required a lot more downward force to get the screws to bite into the threads than the 200+ other Spydercos I've owned.
Re: Are there plans for a Military 2 Salt?
I just got me some new thread lock in yesterday. I got the really big bottles of the red and the thread chasing green. Had those always around here for over 30 years now.
Needed something with more holding power than the blue, always used the green, if it was difficult to heat up to remove the red. Otherwise my go to is red lol.
The red is my most used around here. I keep these big bottles that are over a 100 bucks now, in a refrigerator in the garage, it doesn't go bad before i can use it up and it works better because it's more fresh...
Anyway, I got this add on this orange thread lock, so I ordered this little 36ml size for some smoke tests around here. Any of you used this stuff?
Like in point the three clip screws on our knives. The article read that it's three times the holding power of blue, but it is removable.
My green is jimo twice the holding power of blue, but it's very hard to tactfully put a small amount of it on. Enough so most people won't even mess with the green unless it's already made up tight and they just soak it on and let this stuff wick the threads as it was intended...
Anyway, didn't know anything about this orange stuff being out and thought I would share. May not even be many of you use anything to lock threads in place. Here is a looksee...

Re: Are there plans for a Military 2 Salt?
I am so glad about the Millie 2 Salt. I have been asking for this for a couple years. Probably will get more than one to keep one as a safe queen because this has been one of my unobtainable Spyderco knives until now
. The Millie 2 salt will probably be one of my most carried knives. The Millie 1 was my most carried knife at work.
