Re: “Little knife for a week” challenge.
I always carry a Caplifter Clipitool in my watch pocket. I use it quite a bit, mostly using the Caplifter as a pry tool. The blade gets used for abusive tasks as well once in a while. It is a handy little knife for sure.

I always have a Ladybug on me, and regularly carry a Lil Native Backlock these past few months. It's not as much as challenge but a regular EDC for me.

Carrying mine today, such an awesome blade.
Was reading old threads about the Jess Horn models the other day and came across this awesome quote on Bladeforums that you'll appreciate:
"Jess Horn basically took a shovel pass from Sal and ran it 90 yards for a playoff touchdown. Good stuff."

Lil Native, Rhino, Dice, Vrango. I'm basically ready to sell anything bigger.

I have to admit I carried my Dragonfly around for a month before replacing it with my Lil' Native. I happen to like small knives.

Re: “Little knife for a week” challenge.
Although I had larger Spydercos, I usually carried a Rhino, Lil’ Native or Chaparral LW. Never had the need for anything bigger.

Day 1 of my little knife challenge :D Used this as an excuse to touch up my PE Pacific Salt. Usually grab my SE, but wanted to mix it up a bit. I'll avoid sharpening it the entire week.

It's nice shedding a few ounces compared to the Manix XL or Police 4.

Main use and EDC is Byrd Hawkbill. Does fine, except for shaving :D

The Manbug Salt SE makes this challenge easy. The tiny wharncliffe, serrated blade goes through anything with ease.
Except maybe watermelons

Day one.
This intrigued me so I'm going to carry my Manbug for seven days. I do have several Leatherman in my EDC pack however for cutting tasks I'm going to use my Manbug.

My Co-Pilot stays a queen! However I do have a salt Dragonfly, I really like it, I like the challenge, sometimes less is more.

Re: “Little knife for a week” challenge.
No challenge at all ! I've been carrying a DLC Lil Native comp daily for my primary user! Been rotating larger Spydercos (and occasionally other brands) like the Stretch 2 G10, Military, PM2, Manix 2, Carribbean, etc ....as my secondary carry. Once or twice a week I throw a small EDC fixed blade on my belt for a third choice :D
The Lil Native has blown me away how well it has worked for utility jobs around the house with my XL-XXL hands. Great little user.....

My Urban LW does 90% of my daily tasks. I like a larger blade (usually the Caly 3.5) but it usually isn't strictly necessary. :D

Re: “Little knife for a week” challenge.
Brought the Chapparel LW to Pigeon Forge vaca. Slices up some dry chorizo super thin. Did everything I needed

Re: “Little knife for a week” challenge.
A lot depends on what folks do. I got by with just a manbug for 8 months. I did not need a bigger folding knife the whole time. I used a pruning saw a couple times, and maybe a machete or axe versus just the manbug on weekends, though…

Re: “Little knife for a week” challenge.
I used to carry a small knife when I worked in an office, but since I retired I don't have a reason to. Sometimes I carry a UKPK or Chaparral at the house, but usually it's something in the Military, Stretch XL, Calypso size class. If I'm out and about, I rarely carry a small knife. Nothing wrong with the small ones, I just like the big ones better.
