1st? A Dragonfly 2, black FRN, VG-10. I bought it to replace my lost Gerber LST. And the DF2 is so much better, I started looking at other Spydercos.
Favorite? To carry? To use? Impossible to select just one!
Carry:
5th Pocket:
Lil Native, clipless, canvas micarta, CPM 10V (REC exclusive, aftermarket scales).
Larger:
Native 5, FRN, SPY27, or
Sage 1, G-10, Maxamet

Re: What was your 1st Spyderco, and …
The first Spyderco I ordered was a PM2 in S45VN, sent it back because I really don't care for the PM2's size, looks and combination of thin tip and thick spine, though I have to say the ergonomics of the PM2 are still the absolute best of any knife, any brand I've ever held.
I exchanged the PM2 for a Sage 5 LW, which continued to be my main knife for well over a year after I supplemented it with a Manix 2XL. And these two are my only Spyderco folders, and I couldn't decide between them if my life depended on it. The Sage is a great little knife that punches well above it's size and the Manix 2XL is just as amazing, I love them both a lot.

It still makes me smile how in this and other threads it shows how great and well loved the Chap SE is among those who choose to really give it a try...also and especially by seasoned real world knife users!

First:
Delica sabre grind combo edge
Favorite:
Endura platform, ffg blade and SE or at least comboedge
...and Chap SE. Absolutely perfect for what it is, extreme performer, just way below the size I prefer for general EDC (dreaming of that Chap SE XL...)
