That was a positive review indeed.
And it did make me want to carry my Urban again, so it did at least help a little bit.
Maybe I'll chime in again after a day or two of carry :)

Unless he edited something and got autokicked to moderation again. I don't know how long that can happen.
That's what happened, since English is not my native language I sometimes use phrases or descriptions that don't make any sense, I've corrected a few of those.

Nice review, Palestrina! (It's back.)

The Urban is one I've considered several times, and never quite pulled the trigger. If it's as good as my UKPKs, it looks like you've found yourself a nice knife.

And Tristan, I'm not a fan of cheap plastic either, but I absolutely love expensive plastic.
I can't talk about the UK PK, but I'm happy with this purchase, the Urban is a perfect knife for the office. I've noticed a lot of people online talk about the "fidget-factor", yet no one mentions the really satisfying clicks a slipjoint makes when operating it - and the Urban clicks really nice. It feels like a high-quality knife.

But implying that Spyderco would use "cheap plastic" in the sense of "low grade stuff" as one of their main handle materials is a bit weird.
Also, FRN is known as being really strong, tough and durable, in a way stronger than G10 ("stronger" might not be the correct technical term, but I always like to share a quote by Michael Janich concerning this viewtopic.php?p=1532174#p1532174

Anyway: @Palestrina I am glad you found out that FRN obviously is NOT "cheap plastic" to you... this opens up a whole new world (of potential more Spydies ;) )
I just realised I've also used the phrase "cheap plastic", but as stated above I'm really surprised by the FRN, it feels like a synthetic material, sure, but not in the least like plastic, which I was afraid of. It's strange that even I couldn't wrap my head around it, even though I should have known that there are really high quality synthetic materials out there (Glock comes to my mind).

@Palestrina you aren't doing anything wrong. The warning is likely associated with your IP address. I've cleared you, so hopefully, you shouldn't get that message again.

Thank you! This is strange, I use regular Internet from one of my countries biggest suppliers.

Great forum by the way, from what I've seen until now this is a great community and it's quite informative.

Going to revive this thread with a question/problem.

It seems like over time the pivot screw loosens up. Is this something any of you have experienced as well?

A lot of knives will get that, you need to add loctite to the pivot screw.

It's still as I received it. I will add some, I was just wondering, since it does not happen on my Delicas, which I use way more frequently an play around with more.

Sent you a PM. I have some longer screws that addressed this issue on the G10 Urban I owned without the need for thread locker. More threads plus a slightly larger diameter screw head helped me get proper tension on the pivot.

Here again, thanks for the nice offer. It's sad news, since I thought about purchasing the Heinnie Haynes Red G10 Urban as well as the Squeak.

I mean, the knife works, it's just annoying, and I'm not here to fix something that should have been adressed on the manufacturers side.

Still a great little knife.

Update: A small drop of Loctite 243 seems to have solved the issue.

Perfect.

And I've just realised the Urban has been updated with M398, which makes it a really great deal.

The best Urban ever ! The splendid K390 one with the ''normal'' blade lenght(before they decided to shorten it and ruined this model for me) ! I was smart enough and purchased three of them ;)

Here’s the HH Urban and its larger sibling the HH UKPK. They have quite a different feel in hand to the FRN models - sort of stiffer and maybe a little more premium feeling in G10 (to me FRN says ‘ready for adventure’ whereas G10 is more ‘ready for EDC’). I swapped the HH S30V blade for an S110V option on the UKPK and now it cuts for ages before needing resharpening. I tend to only use them when on holiday in the UK visiting family, so don’t have my full sharpening kit with me.

They are really nice, sadly last time I checked they were both out of stock. I like the red handles too, they look great.

K390 is my favourite steel, the K390 Delica, SE as well as PE are my most used knives. So, I know what I missed out on here.

As @elena86 said, the K390 version is really superior. The action is smooth and the blade profile is nice. I love my K390. I wish I had bought more than one, but that's okay. I carry a UKPK almost daily. I like it even better.
